The Rotorua Dressage Group was formed over 30 years ago to promote and organise dressage in our area.

Based at the Riverdale Showgrounds in Ngongotaha, we have a membership list of around 60 members.
We hold open competition days which are grading days in September and November with our championship show being held at the end of January on Auckland Anniversary Weekend following the Rotorua A&P Show.

In the autumn we hold a series over two days in April and May, which caters predominately for the training level, but also include classes up to medium level.

We also hold closed days for our members before every show, which include an arena for members to practise their tests in, and in December is our Christmas Rally in which we have freestyle pairs tests to music, a prix caprilli and games.
